From seedy, shadow-filled alleyways between cramped and decaying tenements, to glittering penthouse lights cold and hard as diamonds, film noir shows us the dark side of human endeavor. Join us as we watch and discuss four films that shine a spotlight on a world where good men go bad, bad women do good, and power corrupts absolutely. From Dark City to border town and back again, our films are:

Tuesday July 15
The Asphalt Jungle (1950) – hosted by Wynston Jones

Tuesday July 22
Touch of Evil
(1958) – hosted by Philip Wright

Tuesday July 29
Sweet Smell of Success
(1957) – hosted by Bob Doran

Tuesday Aug. 5
The Big Heat
(1953) – hosted by Charlie Myers
